    • Q: Where is The Gambia? 
    • A: The Gambia is one of Africa's smallest countries and is situated on the west coast of Africa, surrounded by Senegal.  
    • Q: How long does it take to travel to The Gambia?
    • A: Between 5 and 6 hours?
    • Q: What is the countries currency?
    • A:The Dalasi, the rate varies but is in the region of 1 Dalasi = UK 0.42p 
    • Q: When is the best time to visit The Gambia
    • A: Anytime but December, January and February are the cooler months whilst July, August & September are usually when the rainy season occurs. This does not however, prevent you from having a wonderful visit since it only rains for a couple of hours and then dries up. It can be rather hot and humid during the rainy season but the rain and the sunshine brings the environment dramatically to life with beatuiful vegetation and colourful flowers appearing everywhere.  
    • Q: What are the people like?
    • A: The people are the most friendly, helpful and happy people that you are ever likely to meet. People in The Gambia do not have much and day to day life is very, very difficult. Despite this Gambians are always smiling, happy and friendly. The Gambia is aptly called The Smiling Coast and welcomes you with open arms.
